Amp’d Mobile Provides Details for Customers Pending its Closure

SlashPhone writes: “If you are one of the Amp’d Mobile subscribers in US, make sure you read the FAQ page on the company site for Number Porting and service suspension information. Amp’d Mobile will be officially suspend their service in US on 24th July. While it is not sure if the company will be bought by other carrier, you can transfer your number to another carrier by providing your account or billing information. This will take up to 24 hours according to the Amp’d Mobile, it will be better to do it fast.”

Dear Mr.Franklin,
How are you? My Name is Shonda Holman I’m writing to you in regards to my bill. I was overly charged on june and july’s statement. Never have I experienced any problems in the pass with overages being charged to my account until this bankruptcy that amp’d is filing for which I had no recolation . My bill averages me now $95.00 a month for two lines have not gone over my minutes for the month of 06/07 & 07/07 combined should be $213 after speaking with Nicole one of the reps. Now my bill is $1,587!!! can you please tell me how this happened? Mr.Franklin please help me with this big problem that no one could seem to help me with after speaking with the 2nd rep. Melissa. According to her there’s no supervisor around any more do to the filing of bankruptcy.
