The AT&T LG GR500 Xenon is a very compact touchscreen phone, which also comes with a well-spaced slide-out QWERTY keyboard and powerful multimedia features. Supporting AT&T’s 3G network, this phone also features a brilliant 2MP camera with LED flash. While the phone itself is very sturdy to touch, the slide function of the keyboard is smooth and feels good on the hands. Its 2.8” WQVGA display gives clarity, below which are the dedicated end/send buttons and so on.

The audio reception of the LG Xenon is great and the voice is carried clearly while outdoors. Unfortunately, this phone does not support the sync function and the contacts detail capacity is also a little of a disappointment. The phone’s multimedia experience is as good as expected. While the music download process is fast and very convenient, the built-in speakerphone is much louder than expected. The device also supports fast Web browsing MMS, so that’s a big plus. On the screen are drag-and-drop widgets, which makes general navigation very easy. It is also simple to customize the UI and use it as per your liking.

On the whole, the LG GR500 Xenon is well worth it. We at PhoneArea definitely give it the thumbs up. Go for it, guys!

There is this latest rumor about the Samsung SGH-T939 Behold 2 going to T-Mobile. This smartphone was recently approved by the WiFi Alliance. Its profile xml seems to indicate that the Behold 2 may be running the Android OS.
There is nothing else that is of interest as far as this thing is concerned. But at least for now, T-Mobile customers may have more choice other than just the T-Mobile G1 and the latest myTouch 3G.
