HTC Hero Okayed By Global Certification Forum

The HTC Hero has been okayed by the Global Certification Forum. Listed as “HERO100”, this device comes with quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE and dualband UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA at 1800/2100 MHz. HTC has announced an event on the coming Wednesday and we expect it will show off this smartphone with its rumoured “Rosie” Android UI herein. We also have our reasons to think that there may be two versions of this device.

We don’t have more details yet and the GCF isn’t talking either, so we will just have to wait for a while for things to get clearer on this front.
