While Palm Pre CDMA will be available by May or June, rumors a new Palm WebOS have now leaked, which will supposedly be released for AT&T network in US. Unlike the Palm Pre, the GSM Palm EOS is said to have the traditional Treo design. It is believed that this smartphone will have a QWERTY keyboard below the touchscreen, but will be slimmer than the Treo smartphone series.
According to some online sources, the Palm EOS has a codename Castlen and is actually the successor of the Palm Centro. There is no mention yet about the availability date. But we know this much – at just 10.6 mm thickness, this is supposed to be one of the thinnest of smartphones.
Other specs of the Palm EOS are said to include 2MP fixed focus camera with flash, Bluetooth 2.1, 4GB storage, SMS, MMS and A-GPS.

Google Apps has been a way for businesses to use the Google Services you all know by now. Now these guys are plugging into the BlackBerry Enterprise Server, RIM’s back-end that handles companies’ BlackBerry data. Although e-mail is the main focus here, Google Calendar and Contacts will also be synced to your work BlackBerry with this new Google Apps Connector.
On a related note, Google will also be releasing Google Maps as a BES install pack for those who want to roll it out internally. This is a nice option, since Google Maps for Mobile easily beats the built-in BlackBerry Maps application. Premier and Education Apps users should have Apps Connector available this July, so keep on the lookout for this one, guys!

A few T-Mobile G1 users from the Android Community forum have reportedly received the latest cupcake updates from T-Mobile UK. The over-the-air updates are about 44MB in size and will update the Android to version 1.5. There are also many others in UK did not receive these update notifications yet, but should be getting the same by end May.
The new Android 1.5 is adding a soft QWERTY keyboard to allow text input via the touchscreen. It will also add the ability to upload photo / video directly to Picasa and YouTube from the G1 device.

A new WebOS theme is now available to give your BlackBerry Storm a bit of Palm Pre-mojo look. The new WebOS theme, very rightly named PreBerry, imitates both the look and feel of the Palm Pre’s all-new mobile operating system. Following on the recently-canned TealOS theme for Palm OS smartphones, PreBerry offers BlackBerry Storm owners a chance to get in on the Pre-action all pre-release style.
PreBerry enables all sorts of theme customization and application integration, even emulating the WebOS’s “wave launcher” dock. The theme comes complete with a slew of high-quality WebOS-like application icons, so you can be sure that your Pre-experience is as accurate as possible. Of course, the capacitance touchscreen on the Palm Pre will make for a decidedly different touchscreen experience, so be warned, do not be under the illusion that PreBerry is going to be a good alternative to the actual WebOS.
PreBerry is on sale for $5.99. Click here to download PreBerry .
