Digipower has now announced the launch of the Jumpstart family of universal chargers led by its flagship product, the Jumpstart Sport. The Jumpstart Sport provides portable power in slim and fashionable designs, ranging from camouflage through to plaid. This is especially designed for today’s active individual.

Jumpstart Sport comes with a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery pack ith cable and connectors for a series of popular cell phones, smartphones including the Apple iPhone or Blackberry, handheld game devices and even portable GPS devices. This is recharged using a supplied AC wall charger or a USB cable and even has a battery gauge on the device shows instantly how much power is remaining. The unique thing about it is that it retains its charge for up to one year, and can charge a device in only forty minutes. The Jumpstart and phone can be charged simultaneously using the cellphone’s car or wall charger.

The MSRP of the Jumpstart Sport universal charger is $49.99. MSRP for the Jumpstart emergency charger is $14.99. The Jumpstart products will be available in June from select retailers in the US.

PlayNow Arena With Movies Brings Films To Phones

Sony Ericsson has started providing a truly unique entertainment experience on the mobile handset with the launch of PlayNow arena with movies, the latest addition to the PlayNow arena content delivery platform.

PlayNow arena with movies is a bundled movie service from Sony Ericsson, included out-of-the-box for selected handsets, allowing consumers to watch up to 60 movies a year on their mobile phone. This service allows users to choose from a selection of around 15 movies at any given time, with additional titles being added to the catalogue each month. After ‘side loading’ feature length films onto your phone, you can watch them as often as you like for up to 90 days.

PlayNow arena with movies will make its debut with the W995 Walkman, launching in Sweden, Norway, the Netherlands, Germany and the UK from June 2009. Additionally the service will also be made available on upcoming phones such as Satio and Aino.

Verizon Wireless Introduces LG enV3, enV Touch And LG Glance

Verizon Wireless and LG Mobile Phones are introducing three nice, new cell phones, just in time for summer. LG enV3 is available from Friday, while LG enV TOUCH and LG Glance will be available June 5 at all Verizon Wireless Communications Stores.

Both the LG enV3 and enV Touch have a clamshell design with a QWERTY keyboard, microSD card slot and support visual voice mail. The enV Touch has two 3-inch size display screen, the external screen is also a full touch screen for touch input. The enV Touch has a 3.2MP camera on the, while the LG enV3 has a 3MP camera. The third LG phone, the LG Glance, is a candybar phone with a 1.3MP camera.

The LG enV3 is available for $129.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement. LG enV TOUCH will be available for $149.99 after a $70 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement, while LG Glance will be available for $49.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement.

Nokia 6730 Classic Is Exclusive To Vodafone

You guys are gonna have mixed reactions on this one. The Nokia 6730 Classic candybar phone is an interesting device in that Vodafone intends to launch it globally across its entire wireless footprint, bringing turn-by-turn navigation and S60 to a wide audience spanning multiple continents and target demographics.

This device comes with a 3.2MP autofocus camera, the usual microSD expansion, and a 2.2-inch display. This handset will launch next month for a yet undisclosed price.
