If hearsay is to be believed, T-Mobile is soon going to start selling a touchscreen handheld from the Chinese manufacturer, ZTE. ZTE is not exactly a “celebrity” cellphone manufacturer, but has done some devices for 3UK earlier. This device, though, may be the first one for T-Mobile.
The touchscreen device, called the vairy touch, will be available on prepay. This is said to offer dual-band GSM, 1.3MP camera, Bluetooth and FM radio, plus the usual SMS/MMS/Multimedia routine.
The handset, it is said, will sell for ?59.99 on Prepay. That is truly low, isn’t it? Check out the picture below and decide for yourself.

CTIA Wireless 2009, to be held next week in Las Vegas, Nevada, is already throwing around a lot of rumors before the start of the real event. The latest buzz is that RIM might be announcing a new video subscription service at the CTIA show. The service, it is believed, will enable the user to download full TV episodes over a WiFi connection, which they can watch later at their convenience. It is said that there will be a monthly subscription required for this, as well.
This rumored video service from RIM will, they claim, not allow video content to be downloaded or streamed over a cellular connection. This is done to avoid frustrating users struggling with jammed networks, and taxing carriers’ networks too.

The latest news we heard about Windows Mobile 6.5 is that the overhauled Mobile Internet Explorer browser is not as simple as it looks after all. IE6 for Windows Mobile 6.5, it turns out, is very posh and will actually come with some advanced features from Internet Explorer 8 (IE8)! Would you believe that?
Additionally, this service includes revamped navigation controls, touch-optimized browsing, full-HTML rendering and support for Flash. Mobile Internet Explorer 6 will render PNG alpha channel graphics and will feature Internet Explorer 8’s javascript engine as well. Microsoft has also adopted a hybrid approach for their upcoming mobile web browser, enriching it with the advantages of IE8, but still keeping it running on the more lightweight IE6 codebase.
