Photobucket, a leading standalone photo and video sharing site has now announced the availability of a revolutionary mobile photo service exclusively for T-Mobile. This enables users to send photos directly from mobile phones to several destinations, such as the Photobucket album, a PC hard drive, or an email address.
T-Mobile users can download the application to select handsets for a 21-day free trial period, including Blackberry Curve, Blackberry Pearl and three Windows Mobile smartphones. You can create a free account at http://photobucket.com and then link your T-Mobile phone to your Photobucket online photo album. The application will allow you to choose where you should upload your photographs.
This service is now available for five select handsets. Both free and premium versions are available. The full software comes at a mere $19.99. The expired trial version only allows uploads to Photobucket. You will have to register as a premium user to avail all the other facilities. Visit http://photobucket.com/mobile for more information.
The latest rumor in cellphone town is that AT&T may be planning to begin offering the Apple iPhone 3G smartphone for sale, without a contract. This, it is rumored, was leaked during an internal presentation held by the carrier.
According to this information, the iPhone 3G will be available without contract only for AT&T customers. The pricing may be around $599 for the 8GB iPhone 3G and $699 for the 16GB iPhone 3G. Yet another piece of related info is that this new pricing could come into effect from March 26. The catch is that an activation fee will still be charged when the device is activated on the AT&T Network.

Google has now created a YouTube application for Windows Mobile and S60 3rd Edition handsets. This lets users easily search for videos, check out the most viewed, recently added and top rated categories too. The application will then play the selected video on the full screen.
This useful app, though, does not allow users to upload their videos. The YouTube application for S60 and WinMo handsets is available online for free. You can find a link to it from your mobile YouTube homepage. This service is now available in the UK, Ireland, the US, Australia and New Zealand.
