The LG Rumor Mobile Phone Finally Arrives – This is no rumor!

The very impressive LG Rumor has finally arrived from Sprint. This wonderful mobile phone is especially for those who would like the facility of a QWERTY keyboard without having to tolerate the complications a smartphone throws up. The LG Rumor’s slide-out QWERTY keyboard lies hidden and gives the user great ease of messaging.

Other features of the CDMA LG Rumor include a 1.3MP camera, MP3 player, Bluetooth and access to Facebook and Sprint Navigation. The LG mobile phone, though, does not have EV-DO and Web browsing is pretty slow. The other downside is that the phone’s screen resolution is not great and the camera lacks a flash. On the whole, though, the LG Rumor brings with it a great multimedia experience and is for those who are not looking for very fast download speed.

The LG Rumor is available for a price of $279.99, but you can also get it at a mere $79 with a two-year service agreement and a $50 mail-in rebate.

Sirius XM Developing Touch Streaming Radio App For iPhone/iPod

Mama mia, the way Sirius XM went down in the market, we were almost sure it was going to kick the bucket. We were obviously wrong, coz Sirius XM is now looking to connect with lucrative business enterprises in a bid to increase its market share and regain the loyalty of its customers.

We saw just weeks ago that the sat radio company was preparing some Sirius/Direct TV bundles. Now, the outfit is developing an Apple iPhone/iPod touch streaming radio app. It is difficult to imagine that a satellite radio company could be turning to delivering content through the Net. We are curious to know how this thing would turn out, what its pricing would be, would customers be able to get just an iPhone subscription and so on. Well, we just have to wait for the answers, won’t we?

Verizon Includes Business On Friends & Family Plans

We generally thought that, when Verizon Wireless presented a business audience with its recently launched Friends & Family package, it would change its name to something more formal and somber-sounding. But no, the carrier is launching Family & Friends for Business on March 15.

On plans that start at $59.99 for a single line with a limit of 900 minutes, employees will be offered to give a choice of ten numbers they call most. This reduces the need for call minutes, actually. Well, good for the businesses that are part of the Verizon bandwagon, right?
