Verizon has just published its economic results for the past year through 2008. It looks as though the current economic downfall of the US hasn’t negatively affected Verizon Wireless. Its income result for quarter 4 of 2008 displayed a strong increase in sales and productivity with a growth of 3.4%. This means that they exponentially increased sales from $23.8 billion in the fourth quarter of 2007 to $24.6 billion in 2008. Verizon’s complete over-all sales for 2008 accounts for $97.4 billion, a 4.2% increase once you weigh it against the total sales during the 2007 term.

The question in speculation is, what will Verizon Wireless sales look like by the end of 2009?

A mobile industry expert company in Inverness, FL (Smartphone Experts) have launched a site called www.NokiaExperts.com who’s main focus is all things of Nokia. However it’s said that their main focus will be mobile device offerings by Nokia. Veteran mobile gadget expert, Matthew Miller is head of the “operation”. This site will join the ranks of Smartphone Experts line-up of informational sites and communities such as TreoCentral, PreCentral.net, CrackBerry.com, the iPhone Blog and more. Miller plans to blog live through his Nokia devices and with the use of several WordPress tools while on the run.

“To me, Nokia has a lot going on that merits attention,” said Matthew Miller. Let us hope that this site will be as informative and useful as its anticipated to be for all of our benefit, if not then we’ll just have to do what all of us do when a new site that falls short of the mobile industry’s glory, we disregard it.

Sony Ericsson will follow in the footsteps of the iPhone Hello Kitty. It will release the Kitty themed phone in Russia as it seems to be in popular demand there; well either that or they have a sense of style that matches a Child. Once it arrives at the doorsteps of the Russian this mobile devices memory will be crammed with a load of Hello Kitty stuff like wallpapers and screensavers of such.

We speculate that since it is hitting Russia, it will reach other similar countries as well. If you’re Russian and have a teenage girl or a child you can order your F305 “defaced” with Hello Kitty everywhere very soon, however if you live in any other country, you’re probably going to have to wait, unless you happen to grab an unlocked version.
