T-Mobile Receives the Android-Smartphone T-Mobile G2 (HTC Sapphire 2)

Friday January 23, 2009, it has been reported that T-Mobile is to receive the newly designed and innovative HTC Sapphire smartphone featuring Android capabilities. High Tech Computer (HTC) is releasing its second Android-based smartphone to the loving and caring hands of T-Mobile.

HTC has been rumored to eventually release several more smartphones to other wireless companies. However, models, and full specifics have not been confirmed.

Telus Preparing the BlackBerry Curve 8350i Launch

Now-a-days every major mobile company seems to have some sort of BlackBerry Curve hidden and stashed away within their BlackBerry line-up. However, Telus has deemed it its turn to receive the BlackBerry Curve “light force”. With this said, Telus is preparing its release of the BlackBerry Curve 8350i. This device will feature a fully developed 2 megapixel camera. It supports GPS, Bluetooth capabilities and WiFi; however you can choose to not include these services within your Curve 8350i package once purchased.

This device will be added to Telus’s line-up of smart phones on January 27th for a whopping $200 as soon as Telus sees your John Hancock on a three-year contract.

Nokia E75 Pics and Specs Finally Confirmed

There has been a lot of speculation revolving around the Nokia E75 recently. It’s pre-release in September 2008 did not help its case at all. However, we’ve finally been able to confirm its specs and pictures, and we have it all here. This swift device features a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard embedded with a traditional numeric keypad. The E75 has been deemed to expand Nokia’s business class phones.

The Nokia E75 has been confirmed to display and 2.8” QVGA screen, a 3.2 megapixel camera, 3G data connectivity, and full support of WiFi radio connections. It will floss the S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2 (FP2) operating system, giving your life the freedom a smartphone should.

Nokia’s 5800 XpressMusic Phone Reaches over 1 Million Shipments

Nokia has reached the millionth Nokia 5800 XpressMusic phone shipment in the UK. The 5800 is Nokia’s first touchscreen device, and it was welcomed with open arms as it recently reached the UK this last fall. Since its release in October 2008 it has been one of the most successful devices within Nokia’s line-up. In Hong Kong and Moscow the 5800 sold out within hours of sales starting.

Nokia’s Vice president stated that “The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic has been received very positively and this milestone is just further proof that people all over the world want a device that is not only a great music experience, but also makes the most of touch screen technology.”

The Nokia 5800 features 8GB of memory allowing up to 6000 audio tracks to be loaded onto the phone. It supports every main music format, a 3.5 mm jack for your favorite set of headphones and best of all a built in surround sound stereo which has been said to offer the best quality of music within the mobile industry.
