The Pebble Rose Bloom is a clamshell-style phone with a strikingly unusual pink color. This organic-looking mobile phone, the PEBL, as it is called, looks something like a droplet or pink pebble while closed. That is probably earned it its name as well.

SanDisk and LG Electronics successfully demonstrated their new technology for cell phones, which allows mobile network operators to offer multimedia services by way of removable flash memory cards. The new LG KC910 Renoir was used for demo purposes and it now makes way for a new era in mobile phone service and content distribution.
Network operators can distribute preloaded and downloaded content on these removable memory cards, free of cost, and limit its premium services only to their network subscribers. This content protection service enables operators to authenticate user credentials via their data on the SIM card.
SanDisk’s technology offers flexible storage-based services to network operators by permitting them IP connectivity to the device’s memory card, which is remotely manageable by the operator using industry-standard TCP/IP and OMA Smart Card Web Server.
