HTC had announced an impressive and outstanding end of the fiscal year in 2008 with a total of over $4.61 billion made. Now this mobile “hulk” has plans to make available 10 new handsets during this year. HTC says that all of their new phones will rely on Windows Mobile or the open source Android platform allowing connection to third-party downloads and applications.

However, given to thought the strong relationship between HTC and Microsoft we doubt that we’ll be able to see an overkill of Android phones compared to Windows Mobile one’s.

Nokia will be bringing the Nokia E63 to the North American Market very soon. It will be available within the coming weeks for an estimated retail price of USD 270.00 (a bargain we must say). It seems as though Nokia’s trying to target middle class consumers with affordable smartphones instead of bombarding the US economy with overpriced and glorified phones.

The new addition to the US Nokia E-series family arrives with a much anticipated (and demanded) QWERTY keypad, 3G network capability speeds, and an open source operating system called Symbian S60 3rd Edition, that will allow users to freely download third party applications similar to the iPhone and Google’s G1 Phone.
