Now mobile users may be able to talk and watch TV at the same time, while also on the move. MySpace plans to go the mobile way, allowing its users to access its members’ pages and video clips through their Palm Centro, BlackBerry, Motorola Q9, Nokia N95, Samsung Instinct and LG Voyager mobile phones.
Additionally, they can also view videos from the official websites of TMZ, National Geographic, The Onion, The National Hockey League and so on. At present, the webpages will be streamed rather than downloaded onto users’ mobile phones and so; these cannot be accessed with Apple’s iPhone. But soon, MySpace may also introduce the downloadable feature.
MySpace will be working with RipCode to make video streaming available on wireless handsets, which will permit users to save their video clips in different formats as well. Of course, this free service comes along with advertising. Since it is in its beta stage for now, there might be some problems with it yet. However, this is slated to come up in a big way in the very near future.

Additionally, Truphone for iPod Touch will soon make landline calls cheaper and let users call Skype and MSN users for free. This software can be downloaded from Apple’s App Store. This unique software uses iPod Touch’s Wi-Fi connection to carry calls over the Internet. There are absolutely no hidden charges whatsoever and you can subscribe and use its services for free. All you need is a second-generation iPod Touch and you are on.
Of course, Truphone for iPod Touch will not be able to substitute regular telephony services and cannot advise on legality in certain jurisdictions of the world. But for now, this is interesting enough news for telephony freaks, is it not?

Ruslan Kogan of Kogan Technologies has now announced the introduction of his new creations, the world’s second Android phones – the Agora and the Agora Pro. The Agora, powered by Android, will be the next smartphone after T-Mobile G1 and will be released along with a second version, the Agora Pro.
The Kogan Agora will comprise a backlit QWERTY-style keyboard, 2.5” touchscreen display, microSD slot, Central navigation key and 3G connectivity. The Agora Pro, on the other hand, will have all of the above features, plus a 2MP camera, smart GPS and Wi-Fi. Other specifications include Bluetooth, inbuilt microphone and speakers and several audio-video compatible formats.
Both the phone models were supposed to be introduced this year-end, but their pre-order and shipping dates have now been delayed to January 29, 2009. When the models are released, the Kogan Agora will be available at AU$299 and the Kogan Agora Pro will be sold at AU$399. Pretty reasonable prices for mobile phones supporting so many features, what say? I would say it is worth the risk.
