Motorola slides out its new ROKR EM35

The ROKR “family” by Motorola is now richer with new slider phone coming with a big music experience. If we compare with the predecessor, the ROKR E8, the EM35 got a little bigger screen (2,2″ 262k color TFT QVGA), camera with higher resolution (3.1 megapixel with zoom), 110 MB on-board memory, up to 32GB of microSD support, and a multimedia player supporting more types of files (AAC, AAC+, AAC+ Enhanced, AMR NB, AMR WB, MIDI, MP3, RA v10, RA v9, WAV, WMA v10, WMA v9, XMFMIDI, H.263, H.264, MPEG4, RV v9, WMV v10, WMV v9).

In sliding form factor, the ROKR EM35 also features stereo Bluetooth 2.0, 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB 2.0 connector. It supports quad-band GSM 850/900/1800/1900 as well as EDGE Class 12/GPRS Class 12 modes. This Linux Java powered phone should be available ending this month however the price tag is still unknown.

Nokia To Set Standards With The Unveiled N97

Nokia has unleashed and revealed its newest trendy mix to the line-up, the N97. This urbane ingenious comes with a smoothly displayed 3.5-inch, 640 x 360 pixel touch-screen with demonstrative feedback and a mysteriously sliding QWERTY keyboard.

The N97 is said to feature a 32GB built in capacity with the help of microSD/memory expansion.
