Motorola shows up its MOTO VE66 – new 5 megapixel slider

Motorola has revealed its another multimedia “monster”, the MOTO VE66 sliding phone with 5 megapixel camera on-board. The handset also got couple of technologies including CrystalTalk audio, FastScroll for one-touch navigation and of course, mobile-Linux enabling a mobile development.

The MOTO VE66 also features Wi-Fi, stereo Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP and USB 2.0 for high-speed connections, aGPS for navigation, an integrated MP3 player, FM radio with RDS, and Windows Media Player 11. The handset supports quad-band EDGE/GPRS/GSM networks.

The new MOTO VE66 is also first Motorola’s slider with WebUI application environment which enables widgets and Web 2.0 applications through Motorola’s WebUI APIs. The slider is expected to begin its shipping in Q4 2008 in Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East and Africa though the pricing has not been unveiled yet.

LG CT810 Incite – a new 3G smartphone for AT&T

After the Eternity by Samsung, AT&T is coming with another handset featuring touch-sensitive display with virtual full QWERTY keyboard support, the LG Incite. The 3G smartphone is running on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and supports a big range of office applications as well as multimedia files with Windows Media Player 10.

With a 3″ WQVGA display and a 3 megapixel camera, the phone sports, built-in aGPS navigation and Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth 2.0 ability, and microSD slot for up to 16 GB memory cards. Beside 3G support the Incite works with quad-band GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and tri-band UMTS 850/1900/2100 MHz.

AT&T already made the Incite available through its stores and you may get it for less than 200 USD with a new 2-year contract and mail-in rebate.
