Sanyo to add One Click user interface to its Katana Eclipse X for Sprint

Sanyo Katana Eclipse X comes for Sprint with One Click user interface. The Eclipse X is based on the same specifications of its “brother”, the Eclipse, but with One Click addition. The One Click user interface now allows users to fast access to most used applications e.g. Sprint TV, Sprint Music Store, Sprint Radio or MP3 player.

Other features of this clamshell are 2″ 65k TFT LCD internal screen and 1″ external one, 1.3 megapixel camera with 12x zoom, stereo Bluetooth, GPS, and microSDHC slot for up to 8GB memory cards. The Eclipse X is already available in Nightlife Black and Hypnotic Pink in Sprint retail stores at price $99.99 with a 2-year agreement and $50 mail-in rebate.

Napster Mobile is now available on AT&T handsets

AT&T has launched Napster Mobile, a music service including more than 6 million songs. The service is now available on 25 mobile units of AT&T phone line-up like BlackBerry Bold, AT&T Quickfire, Pantech Matrix and Samsung Propel. One song costs $1.99 and you may get it wirelessly from Napster Mobile website or subscribe for $7.49 month/5 songs.

Japanese SoftBank Mobile rolls out new lineup of phones for winter season

SoftBank Mobile belongs to the leading telecommunications companies in the Japan thanks to its various handset offer. They have introduced 16 new models for the upcoming winter time but in this story we introduce 9 models which we have not remembered yet.

Most of these new mobile phones will be launched in the end of November, and some of them in beginning and half of December. The new line-up will include: Sharp 931SH AQUOS and 930SH, HTC X04HT Touch Diamond and X05HT Touch Pro, Casio 830CA, Toshiba 830T FanFun and 831T Petit, Panasonic 830P, and Samsung 730SC.

Well, let’s have a look what each of the phone includes.

Sharp 931SH AQUOS – 3.8″ half-XGA LCD touch-screen with 1024 × 480 pixels, 5.2 megapixel CMOS camera, Bluetooth, infrared connectivity, 3G speeds, GPS, microSDHC card slot for up to 8GB, 52 x 115 x 16 mm and 130 g.

Sharp 930SH – 3″ wide VGA ASV LCD internal screen with 480 × 854 pixels and 0.8 inch external one, 8 megapixel CMOS camera with CCD sensor, Bluetooth, infrared, 3G speeds, microSDHC card slot for up to 4GB, 48 x 105 x 15.2 mm and about 110 g.

HTC X04HT Touch Diamond – 2.8″ VGA LCD touch-screen with 480 × 640 pixels, 3.2 megapixel CMOS camera with auto focus, Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi, Opera Mobile 9.5 browser, 4GB of user memory, 51 x 102 x 11.35 mm and 110g.

HTC X05HT Touch Pro – 2.8″ VGA LCD touch-screen with 480 × 640 pixels, 3.2 megapixel CMOS camera with auto focus, Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi, Opera Mobile 9.5 browser, 512MB of user memory, up to 32GB of microSDHC support, 51 × 102 × 18.05 mm and 165 g.

Casio 830CA – 3″ wide QVGA TFT LCD internal display with 240 × 427 pixels and 7 × 17 external LED display, 5.2 megapixel CMOS camera, 3G speeds, 80MB of user memory, microSD support up to 2GB, 50 x 106.1 x 15 mm and 105 g.

Toshiba 830T FanFun – 2.8″ wide QVGA LCD display and 0.6 inches organic EL external one, 1.96 megapixel CMOS camera, 3G speeds, Bluetooth, infrared, GPS, microSDHC support up to 8GB, 50 x 103 x 15 mm and about 111 g.

Toshiba 831T Petit – 2.8″ wide QVGA LCD display and 0.6 inches organic EL external one, 1.96 megapixel CMOS camera, 3G speeds, infrared, GPS, microSDHC support up to 8GB, 50 x 103 x 15 mm and about 109 g.

Panasonic 830P – 3″ wide QVGA LCD screen with 240 × 427 pixels and 0.77 inches organic EL external one, 2 megapixel CMOS camera, 3G speeds, infrared, TV calling support, 38MB of user memory, microSD card support up to 2GB, 49 x 109 x 15.4 mm and about 114 g.

Samsung 730SC – 2″ TFT LCD display with 240 × 320 pixels, 1.3 megapixel CMOS camera, W-CDMA system, infrared, a music player, 44.6 x 107.9 x 14.7 mm and about 95.9 g.

Motorola MOTOZINE ZN5 debuts in North America at T-Mobile USA

T-Mobile has launched Motozine ZN5 in North America which is exclusively available for T-Mobile USA customers. This makes T-Mobile the first carrier in North America to offer Motozine ZN5. Motozine is result of 2 year collaboration with Kodak to bring high-quality phone and camera experience to Motorola lovers.

Motozine ZN5 is a candybar shape and it is the first true photo-centric phone with 5 megapixel camera.  ZN5 is capable to fast image capturing which means fastest click-to-click ratio. ZN5 key features include  GSM 850/900/1800/1900, a sharp 2.4″ display, a touch-sensitive keypad, and 3.5 mm audio jack (which doubles as A/V out).

ZN5 has a robust 350MB of built-in memory with optional 4GB microSD expansion. Users can upload their photos to Kodak Gallery and other services with its Wi-Fi capability. However the phone lacks any other popular services which are widely available like add-on support for Flickr, Facebook and Photobucket.
