Samsung SCH-W570 (SPH-W5700) ‘Style Report’ – first touch twin display clamshell handset

Only 2 days ago Samsung introduced its Pixon and already adds new addition to its range of clamshell phones. But for now, our new SCH-W570 boasts two 2.2 inches TFT LCD touch displays. External display is dedicated to show and access with music, video and other features, while the internal one is a very good compensation of the classic keyboard.

The device works with 3G speeds so the transfering of data will now much faster. For multimedia lovers, the SCH-W750 offers a 3 megapixel camera with auto-focus. The phone also works with HSDPA (2.1Ghz) and GSM (900/1800/1900Mhz). Our source has not provided any informations on availability and pricing but we know, this handset is only for Korean users.

Philips Xenium X600 – why don’t go on a holiday without a charger?

What do you think about a month or two (rumoured on sites) of standby time and 16 hours of talk time? It sounds great if we compare with a classic phone which allow us about 10 days. The new Xenium X600 by Philips sports microSD card slot for up to 8GB, a music player, a 2 megapixel camera with videorecording and digital zoom, Bluetooth 2.0 and USB 2.0.

This clamshell supports tri-band GSM 900/1800/1900 MHz. Unfortunately, there are no credible informations about availability and pricing.

ZTE introduced the U990 – world’s first HSDPA TD-SCDMA smartphone

China’s ZTE has revealed first HSDPA TD-SCDMA high-end mobile phone following the U980 and U981 models. The U990 is equipped with dual TD-SCDMA/EDGE support which allows speeds up to 2.8 Mbps. Company has integrated Windows Mobile 6 version as well as GPS/AGPS navigation.

The user interface is controlled by a touch-screen technology. The handset is also able to work in 3G networks. ZTE said that U990 should be available soon in the market but has not confirmed the price yet.

Bell Mobility has added the Wine phone by LG to its portfolio

The Wine phone by LG was introduced two months ago for Europe and Japan market as LG-KF300/L706ie. But the time for our Canadian friends is here. Bell Mobility now offers this clamshell with features like 2.2 inches QVGA display with 240 x 320 pixels, 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth and GPS. With an elegant black or gold design it comes for $79.95 with a three-year contract.
