AT&T attacks – introduces AT&T Quickfire, Pantech Slate, Pantech Matrix and Samsung Propel

AT&T boosts its position in mobile market and brings 4 new QWERTY mobile phones dedicated to messaging lovers. AT&T Quickfire, Pantech Slate, Pantech Matrix or Samsung Propel, each of these new handsets can provides a great messaging solution its user.

The AT&T Quickfire is an one-way slider supporting AT&T’s 3G network. It features Napster Mobile and eMusic Mobile. Users may choose from 3 different colour designs: orange, lime and silver for $99.99 after a 2-year agreement and rebates.

Another model, the Pantech Slate is thinnest QWERTY handset available today and in a candybar form factor it has a 1.3 megapixel camera, IM, Bluetooth, and Mobile Email. It will be available for $49.99 after a 2-year agreement and mail-in rebate.

Pantech Matrix is a dual-sliding QWERTY device with features like 1.3 megapixel camera, IM, AT&T Navigator, Mobile Email, AT&T Mobile Music, CV and AT&T Video Share. It’s available in blue, black with green, and red for $79.99 with a 2-year agreement and rebate.

Our last “warrior” in our story is Samsung Propel. Like the previous models, this one also boasts a 1.3 megapixel camera, IM capability, Mobile Email, AT&T Navigator, CV, AT&T Video Share calling, AT&T Mobile Music and much more. It will be available in blue, green, red, and white with red for $79.99 after a two-year agreement and mail-in rebate.

The last 3 mobile phones will be available in the end of this month while the AT&T Quickfire is expected to be available in November.

Sprint’s Centro has voice, text, IM, email, mobile web support as well as Google Maps. The new color additions of Centro will be available on October 19 at select retail locations, and beginning November 2 through Sprint Stores for $79.99 with a 2-year contract and $100 mail-in rebate and $25 or higher data add-on or Everything plan with data.

Motorola Krave ZN4 – a flip phone with sense of touch multimedia

Motorola today introduced its first flip touch-capable handset, the Krave ZN4 exclusively for Verizon. The ZN4 is a multimedia phone combining music, videos and TV feature. With its virtual QWERTY keyboard and integrated accelerometer, you can access to Mobile Email from Verizon as well as a HTML browser.

The ZN4 has a 2 megapixel camera with a digital zoom, stereo Bluetooth, USB 2.0, and up to 8GB microSD card support. On its 2.8 inches 65k TFT internal display you can capture, playback or stream files of type H.263, H.264, MPEG4, and WMV v9.

The closed flip provides fast access to camera while the opened one brings a rich menu options. The Krave ZN4 by Motorola is already available through Verizon Wireless for $150 after rebates and new contract.
