Pantech’s Sky today announced its new HSDPA slider handset, the IM-S380K SHOW phone. This stylish device has a LCD screen with 7:3 ratio, a dedicated navigation button on the front side with KTF’s SHOW feature, FM radio and Sky Studio support. The phone also includes Bluetooth, a MP3 player, an electronic dictionary, external memory support and a video calling. The phone will be available in 3 color variants – black, white, and pink for approximately 400,000 won (360 USD).
Low-cost messaging phone, the Blitz by Verizon Wireless, comes with 2.2″ 262K color TFT display, sliding QWERTY keyboard, a 1.3 megapixel camera, USB and Bluetooth, and microSD support for up to 4 GB. The carrier offers this handset for $69.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and a new 2-year customer agreement.
We remember that Samsung has teamed up again with Giorgio Armani to produce yet another stylish touchscreen mobile for which the pictures are unofficially out. Well for our readers information Samsung Armani, a touch screen phone with no keypad was released last year. It could not make any considerable effect on market may be because it was way too hard to carry out any touchscreen text input (many people complained that). Also there was a market factor which diminished this sleek phone (launches of iPhone and LG Prada).
This time Samsung design house has come up with something which is set to be a different. Samsung Armani Night Effect is a sleek phone which has a shining LED bar around the sides with Emporio Armani logos on front and back panels and yes this time it contains buttons.
Samsung M7500 Armani 2 has a quad-band EDGE / HSDPA with 2.5G GSM/EDGE, a 3 megapixel camera – not 5 megapixel as it was being rumored, 2.6″ 262K color 240×320 QVGA full touchscreen, 50 MB of memory, microSD card slot, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Although we’re not 100% sure about the last one.
The price tag is still not known although it’s being said that Armani 2 is set to release in November which will be followed by launches in South East Asia and the Middle East.
It seems that every launch that is related to Palm Treo Pro is not talked much. In late August we have seen Palm releasing a pair of official press photos of the Treo Pro and a video of the handset in action quietly and now Vodafone has just launched Palm Treo Pro very quietly on their website in the UK.
Palm Treo Pro features Windows Mobile, full QWERTY keyboard, Qualcomm 400Mhz processor, 3G / HSDPA and WiFI, GPS and Bluetooth 2.0, a 2 megapixel camera, microSDHC card slot and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Treo Pro has a touch screen a robust ‘pallet’ with 320×320 pixel display. Vodafone customers can get it from free to 340.43 GBP depending on the contract.
