Samsung has started its “pink campaign” in Finland and introduced couple of new color variants of M310, Soul and Soulb models. The phones boast rose pink color but they still have the same specifications. The M310 is a clamshell with a VGA camera, built-in 4 MB of memory and FM radio with RDS. In size 87 x 45 x 19.6 mm it costs about 99 EUR.
The famous Soul is 12.9mm thick handset with HSDPA 7.2 Mbps support and 5 megapixel camera function. It features Samsung’s first user interface with unlimited editing menu possibilities. With 105.9 x 49.5 x 12.9 mm it’s selling for 429 EUR.
The last model from our Pink range is Soulb which is a derivation of the Soul in a candybar form factor. It sports 3.6 Mbps HSDPA, 2.0 inches QVGA 16M color TFT display and a 3 megapixel camera. It’s available for approximately 299 EUR.

The newest development is that Airtel and Vodafone have introduced the highly anticipated BlackBerry Bold smart phone to customers in India. Both carriers have included this device in their current line up to offer outstanding performance and powerful communications to their subscribers.
BlackBerry Bold embodies elegant design and it is the first smart phone to support tri-band HSDPA high-speed networks around the world. The Bold smartphone features rich multimedia capabilities including a media player for music, videos and photos and a 2 megapixel camera with video recording. It also includes a beautiful HVGA (480×320 resolution at 217 ppi) color LCD, a media player for music. BlackBerry Bold comes loaded with applications, including phone, email, messaging, organizer and browser, and works with thousands of mobile business and lifestyle applications.
BlackBerry Bold will be available at Rs.34,990 for both Airtel and Vodafone subscribers and is expected to be available by the end of September 2008 at Airtel and Vodafone Stores and authorized channels nationally.

We have already spotted a new device at Motorola’s website but because there is still no official release yet we are not able to say where it will be available or how much it will cost. The VE538 is a candybar phone comming with a 2 megapixel camera and 3G support. The multimedia represent a big video support: MPEG-4, H.263, H.264, Windows Media, .3GP playback MPEG-4, and H.263 recording.
The handset features Bluetooth with A2DP, USB 2.0 and 10MB of internal memory. The phone will be for music lovers thanks to its a large music files support: AMR, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, MP3 ,WMA, WAV, XMF, SP-MIDI, and MIDI. With 910 mAh battery it provides up to approximately 350 minutes of talk time and up to approximately 310 hours of standby time. Motorola says that this phone will be available beginning Q4 2008.

iPhone 3G users may again enjoy and get a new protection for their “honey”. OtterBox has released semi-rugged protection which is made from 3 slim layers including polycarbonate membrane, hi-impact polycarbonate shell and a silicone skin. This all together bring drop and scratchproof protection, and absorption of impact.
According to OtterBox words, the case is based on the first generation iPhone Defender but it provides an improved screen and better fit and feel. The Defender measures 4.87 x 2.77 x 0.8 inches and weighs 1.9 ounces. OtterBox offers this case in black color for $49.95 but you may want to wait for white, black/yellow or pink variants which comming soon.
