BlackBerry Bold smartphone is being launched around the world. After T-Mobile, Rogers, and Sprint in US, this time its Luxembourg and France where the smartphone is available for TELE2TANGO and Bouygues Telecom subscribers. In conjunction to other launches in Malaysia, RIM has finally placed the BlackBerry Bold on top of the other devices. BlackBerry Bold smartphone is the first BlackBerry smart phone to support tri-band HSDPA high-speed networks around the world.
BlackBerry Bold integrates 802.11 a/b/g Wi-Fi and GPS and it is very popular for his beautiful half-VGA (480×320) color LCD which makes images and videos appear in stunning definition and clarity. The smartphone will be sold from September 9 at the price of 390€ without subscription and from 109€ with data plan subscription in the Luxembourg and in mid-September will be available from 199 euros (not including taxes) with an enterprise plan for Bouygues Telecom customers.
Japan SoftBank today announced availability of new Toshiba 824T phone which will be for sale on September 6th. According to SoftBank’s words, this “lady’s” 1-Seg mobile brings a luscious undertone hiding beneath the razzle-dazzle.
The phone has a large 2.8″ wide screen QVGA LCD, a 1.96 megapixel camera with auto-focus, media player, Digital TV, Bluetooth, microSD memory card, PC site browser and a graphic mail. Measuring 50 x 103 x 17.8 mm and weighing about 112g it provides 180 minutes of talk time and up to 440 hours of standby time.
Users who will want to buy this mobile may choose from 4 color variants which SoftBank will offer: pastel pink, pastel blue, pastel purple and vivid pink. The carrier hasn’t announced the price of this handset yet.
