Panasonic P706ie and NEC N706ie to available on August 15th through NTT DoCoMo

NTT DoCoMo announced that it will launch new clamshell phones Panasonic P706ie and NEC N706ie on this Friday, August 15. The P706ie handset is a 3G phone featuring 3″ 262,144 color TFT LCD internal display with 240 × 427 pixels and 0.8″ black-and-white organic EL external one with 96 × 25 resolution, a 2 megapixel CMOS camera with AF, microSDHC card slot. The phone measuring 109 × 49 × 15.9 mm and weighing 105 g provides up to 570 hours of standby time and about 190 minutes of talk time. The Panasonic P706ie is available in 3 colors: Black, Lavender and Silver.

The second model by NEC, the N706ie is equipped with 3″ 262,144 color TFT LCD internal display with 240 × 427 pixel and 1.6″ monochrome LCD external one with 96 × 84 pixels, 2 megapixel CMOS camera, microSD card slot. The handset provides 700 hours of standby time and 250 minutes of talk time. Measuring 105 × 49 × 16.6 mm and weighing 115 g, the N706ie you can get in 3 color variants: Chianti Red, Shell White and Truffle Brown.

T-Mobile to launch the Android phone on September 17th?

There have been lot of rumors going for Android powered devices, every time I am on internet the rumors are far and wide on news sites and blogs. The latest rumors are that T-Mobile is set to launch the HTC Dream (G1) make Android powered device this year but we must know that these rumors are often changed.

TmoNews predicts that the T-Mobile will launch this phone on September 17th, the phone named as G1 will be sold at 150$ and will only be available for T-Mobile subscribers. G1 will carry a 3.0 megapixel camera and would be a touch screen phone. G1 will be equipped with media sharing feature by which you can watch YouTube and view / edit documents, and a QWERTY keyboard. The device will be released in black, white, and brown colors.
