Sony Ericsson reveals T700 a mobile build on T610 heritage

Sony Ericsson that is now at fourth number in quarter earnings has released another elegant handset, the T700. Neither a Cyber-shot, nor Walkman branded, but rather fifty-fifty on both sides, T700 slim elegance stand out from the many other in the market because of its 10mm slim candy bar with metal finish. It is said to be building on the heritage of the T610, which were very popular in their time.

T700 is being said as a flawless phone which combines timeless design and premium features for the mainstream market. Equipped with a 3.2 mega pixel camera and you can share it with your friends on your blog or web page. Boogie to the beat from the exquisite sound of the built-in stereo speakers, or through your phone’s colour-matched headset. The T700 also includes 2” 262.144 TFT display with 240×320 pixel, 512MB memory card in box, Bluetooth. It measures 48.0 x 104.0 x 10.0 mm and weighs about 78 g.

The T700 is a GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 UMTS/HSDPA 2100 phone that will be available in selected markets in the colors Black on Silver, Black on Red and Shining Silver from early Q4 of 2008. Pricing has not been announced yet.

Siemens unveils “Leaf” and “Solar” handsets

Environmental impact is one of the most important criteria for a good product. Siemens Home and Office Communications instructed form global industrial design, a new generation of modern, forward-looking Gigaset phones to develop in terms of environmental impact, design innovation and new possibilities.The “Gigaset Eco Visions” “Leaf” and “Solar” handsets are made of recyclable raw materials, such as eco-plastic and liquid wood. The Gigaset ECO Visions show the next steps on this, and are in addition to fine design by high-tech materials, forward-looking technology and environmentally friendly production.

The Leaf has a unique natural design reminiscent of a leaf in spring. The eco plastics provide sensational haptics and substantial convenience. The invisible OLED display is embedded in a translucent lens encasement, giving the phone a futuristic touch. The Gigaset Eco Visions design study is a direct result of SHC’s environmental excellence strategy.

22nd August – the another day for iPhone 3G

Apple announced that its iPhone 3G will go for sale on 22nd August in 17 countries around the world. The countries include with local mobile operators: Estonia on EMT, Poland on Orange and Era, The Czech Republic on O2, India on Bharti Airtel and Vodafone, Romania on Orange, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Peru and Uruguay on Telefonica, Hungary on T-Mobile, Slovakia on Orange, Philippines on Globe Telecom, and Singapore on Singtel. After this launch, the handset will be available in more than 40 countries.
