Motorola expands music with EM30, EM28 and EM25 MOTOROKR phones

Motorola today unveiled new range of its music-optimized handsets – the EM30, EM28 and EM25 MOTOROKR phones. Motorola follows the popular ROKR E8 and brings new music experience with a candybar phone, clamshell and a slider one.

Candybar phone, the EM30 weighing 100g and measuring 115 x 53 x 10.6 mm comes with a 2 megapixel camera with 8X digital zoom, Windows Media Player 11 support, 8GB microSD card slot, FM radio with RDS. The EM30 works with quad -band GPRS/EDGE class 12 network and provides up to approximately 360 minutes of talk time and up to approximately 300 hours of standby time.

Clamshell device, the EM28 brings a great music-player experience in a familiar design. Touch-sensitive keys enable an easy control of the music. The phone features 1.3 megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom, 1.8″ 128×160 65k TFT internal display and 1.2″ 96 x 80 black and white matrix CLI external one, WAP 2.0 browsing, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, USB 2.0 standard, and 940mAH battery. The EM28 provides up to approximately 450 minutes of talk time, up to approximately 250 hours of standby time, and approximately 11 hours of music playback time, in Triband GSM 850/1800/1900 900/1800/1900, GPRS Class 10, EDGE Class 10 networks.

Last model, the EM25 is a slider, which sports music library and built-in FM radio with RDS. Including 1.8″ 128×160 65k TFT display, the slider stores up to 750 text messages and 1,000 phonebook entries. Other features of the EM25 are 1.3 megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom, up to 2GB microSD card support, One-touch MP3 player, and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity. In GSM 850/1900 & 900/1800, GPRS Class 10 bands the phone provides up to approximately 490 minutes of talk time and up to approximately 330 hours of standby time.

Motorola is planning to launch the EM30 first in Taiwan and then in other markets, while EM28 and EM25 will be available later this quarter around the globe. Pricing has not been announced yet.

Be like James Bond with new Sony Ericsson C902 Titanium Silver Special Edition

Sony Ericsson together with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures/Columbia Pictures introduced new James Bond’s phone, the Sony Ericsson C902 Titanium Silver Special Edition. The C902 has been used by the actor – Daniel Craig – in the new movie and will be available for a limited period. Customers will get a memory card loaded with a host of 007 content so they may know exactly what it takes to be a secret agent.

The handset was launched in Feb, 2008 and its features are still the same: 5 megapixel camera with AF, Illuminated camera touch keys, 160MB built-in memory, 2″ 262,144 colour TFT with 240×320 pixels, UMTS/HSDPA 2100, GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900. The new Titanium Silver Special Edition will be available in selected markets in Q4 of 2008. Pricing has not been announced yet.
